CHARLOTTE TILBURY's Make-Up House of Rock 'N' Kohl at Selfridges ended with a literal bang yesterday - as Cara Delevingne treated shoppers (and Vogue) to a spot of drumming, following a chat on Tilbury's lips-shaped couch.
"I'm so nervous, my hands are shaking," the model said before the energetic display. "I hope I'm good!"
The pair first met before Delevingne began modelling, but Tilbury claims that even then her star potential was apparent.
"I always thought you were very strikingly beautiful - you were so slim and gorgeous and I just thought: 'Wow, she's so cool and beautiful'," she said.
"We first worked together for Burberry, when I was 15, on a freezing cold Brighton beach with Mario Testino," Delevingne explained. "Since then we've done loads together. Charlotte's an artist - like my face now, this is Charlotte's work! I wish I could do this to myself."
And one of the most memorable projects that the pair worked on was Delevingne's first Vogue cover, in March of this year.
"I was terrified - it was such a big deal. It's one of those huge moments," Delevingne said. "But when it's Mario, Sam McKnight, Charlotte and Lucinda Chambers, it just feels like family."
